NEW AND EXCITING!
The new Rail Yard Terrain Park is the masterpiece and handy work of top local riders and free skiers. At 3,450 feet long, Rail Yard is one of Colorado's longest terrain parks. Even better, you can access the park from express lifts mountain wide.

Also, a surface tow lift to get to SunSpot from Mary Jane's cross trail.

  • Focus your skiing from your feet up.
  • Shaped and side-cut skis may require some movement pattern changes in your skiing style -- be willing to get professional assistance & practice to acquire new patterns. They're easy.
  • Dress warmly, it's easier to remove layers when the weather turns warm.
  • Wear UV sunglasses and/or goggles and plenty of sunscreen. The sun is very strong at this altitude.
  • Drink plenty of water. It is critical for adjustment to our altitude. It also will make your ski vacation a lot more enjoyable.
  • Don't ski every day. Take a day or at least 1/2 of a day to enjoy the other resources of the Fraser Valley. Take a Dog Sled or Sleigh Ride, go Snowmobiling, shop, or just sleep late and curl up with a good book. The base of our mountain is at 9100 feet, and it is difficult for some bodies to adjust.
